Review Oqibo Skincare *

So, the lovely girls and gals from Oqibo Skincare were kind enough to send me a few products to review for you all
so I can test out and give my verdict on a few of their products.
I was contacted by the lovely Beth (waves) from Oqibo HQ and she asked me about a few details regarding my skin type etc. to hand pick out the best products for me to give an honest and relative review on.
Out of the range we decided to pick out the Oqibo Skin Refining Exfoliator & the Intense Moisture Defence to help combat my dry skin which I've been using over the past week to get a true feel the product so lets have a further look at what I received.

I Skin Refining Exfoliator I

When it comes to exfoliators I am a bit of a snob and I refuse to go near any exfoliator from drug store brands that contain huge, chunky pieces of skin ablitering, alcohol saturated pain.
I prefer my exfoliators to be extremely fine in texture as this acts more like a dermabration which really buffs the skin of dirt, dead skin cells and the latter. And this exfoliator is just that! What I love about this product and not only the small exfoliating particles (Apricot Seed ) but the surrounding texture which is smooth and moistourising which really helps to treat the skin, sooth and restore moisture to the skin  after being faced with a tough little work out.
When it comes to the scent I am not the biggest fan as it reminds me of one of those M&S bath sets you get for Christmas HOWEVER it is still a clean and bearable smell which wont have you wrenching and is not off putting in the slightest.
How effective is this product... what I will say is that this product is gentle yet thorough which meant I was able to use this product twice during the day without my skin feeling sore and vulnerable which is really what you're looking for when picking a staple exfoliator.

I Intense Moisture DefenceI

Ok mixed reviews on this product... firstly I will say the scent of this is divine it reminds me slightly of the signature Olay scent and who doesn't like that scent I don't know.
HOWEVER this product is very thick and rich and immediately I knew it was way too thick to penetrate my skin and really give it a moisturised, dewy finish and instead sit on the top of the skin and I feel like this product kind of did that.

Although we never want our moisturisers to be greasy I almost wanted a bit of grease just a tiny bit to balance the thickness of this product.
What I will say is that on first applying it released a burst of freshness which was lovely, again the scent... beautiful and once given a moment it did gradually start to work its way into my skin which left my skin feeling extremely supple to the touch. What this product I personally think would work great as is a primer / base for make up it would make a brilliant hydrating primer which means I can finally find a worthy excuse to chuck out the Nivea one. I did mmmm and ahh about this product but when I applied my foundation over the top I was sold, with dry skin your foundation can sometimes drag and clump but this moisturiser really made it apply smoothly, evenly and through out the day kept my face looking fresh and makeup freshly applied.

Overall I would say these products are truly great, of course with all companies you get your hit and misses but ultimately they are a lovely range of products that do the job
