Staple Eye Brushes You Should Own & how to use 'em

Hi girls,

I've been meaning to do this post for a while and its way over due,
but I've complied four must have makeup brushes for eyeshadow application
what they're for and how to use them. I hope this is helpful for anyone who is just starting to play around and work with eyeshadows and bases or the more experienced who are just looking for the best staple eye brushes for their kits or brush collections.

The Chubby Shadow Brush

This brush is used for packing on a single colour to the socket, the best way to use this brush is to use a patting and press motion the bristles are far to dense to attempt to swipe on colour as it will simply lift and move off the lid. By patting and pressing with this brush you can build solid colour to the mobile lid which is great if you want a sheer wash of solid colour or you want to build for a saturated look.
I particularly like this brush from Crown because the bristles are soft which means they won't irritate or scratch the lid but they are compact and dense with minimal shedding and it washes like brand new.

The Tapered Blending Brush

I vividly remember when every blogger/youtuber discovered the tapered blending brush and makeup application as we knew it was transformed forever. No but seriously this brush is amazing to create flawless blending and gradient between your different shadow shades and lets be honest the key to good eye makeup is detail and BLENDING.
This brush fits perfectly into the socket line / crease and the brush literally does all the hard work for you.
You get the best results with this brush by doing small circular motions back and forth to blend out and evenly disperse the colour.
And I must say its a very attractive looking thing really isn't it.

The Pencil Brush

This brush is awesome if you want to add a bit more drama to a natural eye by adding a darker shade with this brush you can concentrate darker shades into the outer corners and socket line without creating a big dark mess.
Short little strokes help to keep control whilst adding darker shades with this brush and its slightly pointed tip helps to prevent over doing the application.
This brush helps to add depth and dark contours to the eye keeping it natural and not over done.

The Pro Blending Fluff

This brush is great for applying and buffing out CREAM eye shadows, bases and paint pots simply because of the course texture of the bristles and their varying lengths help to grab onto the cream product and move it around the lid whilst blending them out softly.
